You’re a Model

Share

You’re a Model

Tie your breath
Come out on stage
Parallel your chin with the floor
Wear a poker face
Lift your heel and hit the podium

Imitate a cat walk
Swing like the wind blows a hanging wardrobe

Ease your heartbeats…
By blinding yourself to aristocrats
Hear but the rhythm of your pace
Feel but in loved with your dress…
Though, it’s in fact ridiculous

Take a smooth turn
Aim your pulpit to the backstage,
You just completed the usual routine

Now, they have you in their dreams…

Isu ti Uso

Share

Isu ti Uso
Uray panay iti purmam
Saan met gumiddan iti mabilang
Anya baru kingka tatta
Ket nagumaan dan piman

Sapay madi mu padasen,
Mangiturong iti masurot?
Mangipauso ka
Kitam, matulad nga sigod

Mangisuot ka, rutrot
Pumagna nga siga
Langisam ata buok mo
Samo isagsagunnot

Uray saan nga terno
Sapin ken sapatos
Mayat latta ti sintas
Uray pangis da ti kulor

Nu adda umuyaw
“Isu ti uso” kunam
Nu ipapilit da pay
Ibagam, “Umapal ka lang!”

Paper Cut

Share

Paper Cut
Just when you least expect it
Not from a fainting sheet
Thing that projects but innocence
Clean and void that can hold dreams
But possesses a deceiving edge
That appears so thin and weak
Yet has the skill of a blade
With a rapid slide, you will bleed
Too late, when you see it’s deep
Delayed then for a cut treatment
But long enough for the pain to fade
Gradually, you will be relieved
Slowly, its mark will wane

Next thing, you’ll hate magazines
‘Cause its leaves cut even meaner
Turn them carefully to see what’s within
The caveats must be yet to discover
Then you’ll be gentle with papers

Kinakabog

Hindi na nangimi
Basta sya ang namili
Di ka makatatanggi
Kahit kapwa mo pati
Kung dibdib mo’y sya ang sinasabi

Pigilin mo ma’y pilit kakabog
Mali man ang tono nitong tinutogtog
Ikubli mo pa at ito’y sasabog
Bigkasin mo ma’y walang tutunog
Ang sambit nito’y tanging kalabog

Who's Next, Joe?

Share
I almost fell in your trap
Where inside has hypnotic delusion
... That who ever it blinded
could only see bliss over thrice misery
... That who ever it palsied,
could only feel caress over beats,
.. And whoever it deafened,
could only hear sweet whipers over shriek

Was I just too smart,
or just didn't worth to play your tick?
I must be under one
to let them fall unwarned
They both confess to me...
In your trap is miserable,
painful and uproar
But martirness has blinded, palsied, and deafened them

They'd rather stay and be played
Though you handed them the key to scape...

Bungi

Bungi

Animoy may board exam
Kung panuto ay: fill in the blanks
Maaaring nasa ref ang kasagutan

Gilagid mo man ang manguna
Itawa mo lang ang saya't tuwa
Kung libangan mo'y ngumata ng mais
Sa gawaing ito, ikaw na'y lumihis
Kung may habag ka pang nalalabi
Sa mga ipin mong matatag pang tumitirik.

Nag-level up ka na!

Nag-level up ka na!

Nag-level up ka na
Nag-level down ka pa

Walang Maisulat

Share

Walang Maisulat

Isang kuwadernong ubod sabik
Na mamantyahan ng paninta
Ang nanatiling dalisay sa puti
Dahil ang maninitik ay pinagdadamutan
Ng ideyang mailap, nakapananabik

Kanina pa balisa sa kamumuni
Ng mga letrang ikukorte sa pahina
Subalit isang salita lang sana
Ay hirap pang ikatha.

Ang pagnanais umakda ng likhang literetura
Ay sanhi pa yata ng biglaang pagkabura
Ng ipong talasalitaan sa pumurol na memorya

Isip. Isip. Sulat.

What if I die?

What if I die?

*
Would you cry?
I hope you would
So you’ll pour out your grieves
And people will sympathize on you
Then you wouldn’t feel alone
Do it for a straight week or two
So you won’t bear it for months or years
If that wouldn’t do
Reminisce our dark moments together
That would help you feel sadder
You can cry out more sorrows
*
After that…
Recollect all our joyful days
Everything your mind can refresh
Then hate me for parting from you
Without leaving you my stand-in
*
Don’t think I’ll be just around
Or you cannot move on
Burn everything I owned
And all you treasures from me
Those will be meaningless
What for keeping them?
‘Cause I want you to forget me then
Make believe there was no me
I never existed ever… in your life

Basang-Sisiw

Basang-Sisiw

*
Mahirap man sa tahanang barong-barong
O sagana at nananahan sa mansyon
Pantay lang yan sa mata ng delubyo
Lulubog, babaon, kung yan ang palad mo
*
Inanod na ang mga pundar
Tangay pa pati mga pangarap
Ang mga mahal ay dina umahon
Tatag nalang ang dasal para sa hamon
*
Masakit mang magpasalamat sa sagip na buhay
Iisipin nalang na may naghihintay
Basing-sisiw man at ginaw sa bagyo
Darating din ang init na yayakap sayo

Can you read it?

Can You Read It?

I wrote a tale that no one can read
It encloses not a single word to comprehend
My medium was merely invisible
But I swear I scribed a pen on it
Nonsense, it may seem
But only if it’s legible
You might not be who you are by now
‘Cause it has the power to obliterate minds
Just come to think of what is never been thought
Cross the margins your psyche can reach
Not that easy, is it?
When you find your self beyond habitual
I’ll hand you the tome
I’m pretty sure you comprise then the power
You’ll be able to read the story
And tell your fellow about it
But I suggest you not to attempt reading it
Because I myself is afraid of its meaning
Just forget about it
Just think that nothing is ever written
That you cannot read

School Friends

School Friends

High school made me friends
Tied us tight in four years
I loved them; they loved me the same way
We’ve even treated each other siblings
There came trials to test out bond
But we kept it firm like cement and sand

Curse that closing day that broke it quick
Damn! That high school who made us graduates
“bye friends”, I failed to say
Neither “Forgive me!” nor simply “Sorry!”

College helped me recover
Moved me on and granted me another
Look how chance played with me
How could he replace my old friends that easy?

I’m afraid my heart will be immune
To pain of loosing someone should cause
Please College, don’t do me tricks
Promise to alter what High School just did

I have fallen to these new you gave
We’re so compatible, what else to say?
While it’s early, we’re already getting tougher
Preparing for the day you’ll be a traitor

Thank you College you cooperate well
Difficult subjects are fair way to fail
We’ll be together with you for years
Better like this than loosing my peers

We vowed to keep our friendship living
No matter what we must keep schooling
Some must remain scholars
Cause others just flatter their parents for allowance
To shift course is never our plan
To transfer school will never be done

Each happy moment, we treasure
When there’s trouble, we’re beside each other
Full-hearted help, we voluntarily give
To those allies who are in need
Sometimes we quarrel, but that’s normal
Don’t worry, we’ll be fine, it isn’t fatal

We are hanging out often, together
We’re digging foundation much dipper
So when College forcibly divides us
We have stronghold that will last

The very chance I have is this
To take this moment, I will never miss
“Thank you friends for entering my life”
“Thank you for supporting me behind”
“Sorry for sufferings I’ve caused you”
“Sorry for being imperfect friend, too”

Graduation will separate us soon
But I promise I’m not moving on
Saying goodbye will be set aside
Wanting you are always here by my side
I have saved your sweet memories in my brain
Like the first, these will always remain
When we are pulled away by destiny
Here in my heart, you’ll stay thru eternity…

Serpent

*
Tell it secret and it won’t keep
Feed it fruit yet bites your feet
Give it a hug but watch your neck
Or it’ll squeeze it and leaves you dead
*
It changes skin to disguise itself
But with its length you’ll know it is snake
Walk in wood secured with knife
For its terrain is right inside
*
Test it first to stand straight
‘Cause when it crawl it’s not a friend
It’s always fine to befriend another
But look around if you’re in jungle

When Mother Gets Mad

Share

When Mother Gets Mad
Mother is so kind
She gently cares for her offspring
She loves every one so much
That she provides their daily living

But she has been abused
She was paid with disrespects
She doesn’t deserve to be wounded
Mother needs but embraces

There are so many selfish
There’s a lot of narrow minded
Still she strives to understand
Yet no one sympathizes

Mother sacrificed a lot, quietly
But now her sufferings murdered her
Yet, no one noticed she’s dead
Her ghost is begging for payback

Her life was taken away mercilessly
So same price is what she wants
Don’t be surprised when she comes back
Be warned that she’ll be mad…
