Serpent*
Tell it secret and it won’t keep
Feed it fruit yet bites your feet
Give it a hug but watch your neck
Or it’ll squeeze it and leaves you dead

It changes skin to disguise itself
But with its length you’ll know it is snake
Walk in wood secured with knife
For its terrain is right inside

Test it first to stand straight
‘Cause when it crawl it’s not a friend
It’s always fine to befriend another
But look around if you’re in jungle
